Working as the lead developer for an ed-tech startup that is introducing subjects such as UX Design to kids. I have independently built all pages, including three previous website designs and work closely with all teams from design to games to ensure website content and designs are up to date. Gained experience working with design tools such as Figma and Zeplin, as well as AWS hosting.

Forkify

Recipe app using modern JavaScript and an API to search for recipes

By clicking on each recipe, you can view ingredients according to the number of people eating and add the ingredients to a shopping list. I have also implemented persistent data using localStorage, so all recipes and likes are saved on page reloads.

This app allows the user to add items of income and expenditure which are then calculated using JavaScript to output the users disposable income.

A JavaScript game based on who can get to the target quickest.

Basic Rules

1. 2 player game with 1 dice.
2. Each player rolls the dice as many times as they wish and then clicks 'hold' to save their score which gets added to their total score.
3. If the player rolls a 1, their total score goes back to 0.
4. The first player to reach a score of 100 wins the game.

Advanced Rules

1. 2 player game with 2 dice.
2. Each player rolls the dice as many times as they wish and then clicks 'hold' to save their score which gets added to their total score.
3. If the player rolls a 1, their total score goes back to 0.
4. By default, the first player to get a total score of 100 wins the game however a new target score can be added in the input field.

BurgerBuilder

React web app for ordering a burger

Built using a number of React tools, authentication and routing. This app is designed for the user to be able to pick ingredients for a burger, login or sign up, order and go through to checkout.

Built while taking Andrei Neagoie's Zero to Mastery course. This app detects faces when users upload photos.

Information on user entries is displayed when user signs in

User uploads a photo, the face is recognised and highlighted and the number of entries for the user increases

Countries-App

Simple react app filtering through a list of countries

Built using a RESTful API for countries around the world.

List of countries is filtered as text is entered in the search bar
